How do I Know What I Need to Know?

Clear, consistent communication is the key to making sure all members of the Soundview community have the information that they need when they need it. This year we have made some adjustments in the ways that we communicate different kinds of information. We have a variety of tools for keeping you in the loop on all things Soundview.

The Soundview Community Calendar (formerly the Parent Calendar) is the home for all dates and times for school day and class events, SPGA events, Project Nights, Concerts, due dates, ASAs and everything else that you can imagine. Each parent will receive an email notifying you that this calendar has been shared with you. This will be the most up-to-date source for school happenings.

The Current: Soundview’s Blog will contain anything and everything about the life of the school and the educational experience. Posts will include photos and videos to give you a glimpse into the classrooms experience. You will receive text alerts notifying you when relevant posts are added. Be on the look-out for Wednesday Whiteboard sessions with Chris!

Email will be reserved for communication about your individual child and limited logistical information regarding classroom events. If you receive an email from Soundview, it will be important and specific to you.
