I am a mom of three, two adult children and my youngest is currently in 7th grade at Soundview. We've been a Soundview family since 2014 and love the school and it's community. We absolutely adore Soundview for a plethora of reasons. Personally, I really appreciate the fact that the academic programs are top-notch while also emphasizing the importance of being a compassionate and mindful member of the community. The school places a strong emphasis on treating students as individuals and valuing their unique differences.
One of my favorite things about Soundview is they inspire students to become responsible global citizens while fostering their critical thinking skills.

I am a mom of two Soundview students. We chose Soundview because we wanted our children to have a continuum of education that is based on the International Baccalaureate principles. In Soundview we have found a school that allows our children to thrive by meeting them where they are and focusing on the whole child approach to education.
One of my favorite things about Soundview is that it’s more than a school, it is a community - rooted in compassion for every student and their family.Current Grades of Children: Early Childhood & Grade 4

I have two kids at Soundview and this will be my family's third year at the school. Soundview has been a wonderful place for my children to grow and develop. I've watched them learn about both the world and themselves. Soundview is my first and only experience with an independent school and I have been thrilled with the environment, curriculum, and community that has been afforded my family.
One of my favorite things about Soundview: Soundview does a particularly good job of balancing the wide ranging needs of growing young minds. I appreciate the level of intentionality that goes into developing a classroom program, or a multi-week unit of inquiry, or a roadmap for the school year. Meanwhile, I love that both the teachers and programs are open to listening and at times following students' leads. Where Soundview School differentiates is taking these seemingly different paths to learning and fusing them together into a singular development experience that is engaging and transformative.

I am a school administrator and I have one child who has graduated from Soundview, and another one in the MYP. When we moved to Seattle a two years ago, Soundview was the perfect place for our kids to land. They made friends easily and have been so well-supported by their incredible teachers. The Skills Collaborative program has made an enormous difference to both of them.
One of my favorite things about Soundview: The experience of Outdoor School in 5th grade and in the MYP.
