Soundview Summer Camp, Exhibition Night, and So Much Pride!
Dear Soundview Family,
Happy Pride month! All belong at Soundview.
The fifth-grade Exhibition is next Thursday, June 8, all day. Parents and guests are invited to visit the Exhibition from 4:00 to 5:30 PM in the Soundview Performing Arts Center and various classrooms. The Exhibition is the culminating project for all students across the world completing their International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programs. Here is a list of Soundview fifth-grade students and their Exhibition topics:
Bailey: Ocean warming affects people and life under water
Elise: What we consume affects our environment
Emma: Human waste affects the ocean
Finn: Deforestation affects ecosystems
Hank: Water is shared with all living things
Isla: Laws can create an equal society
Jaclynne: All genders have the right to equality
Kara: Homelessness is caused and influenced by personal decisions affecting everybody
Mason: Human actions impact animal welfare
Sam: Human behaviors impact animal populations
Seth: Water transportation affects marine ecosystems
Sonya: Transportation choices impact our environment
Sophia: Our exploitation of animals impacts the people and wildlife around us

Join the Soundview community for the Spring Social hosted by the Soundview Parent/Guardian Association on Sunday, June 11, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Meadowdale Park.
