Elizabeth has been an educator for over twenty years and her love of teaching and leading has taken her all over the world. Elizabeth started teaching in Seattle, but has spent the majority of her career teaching and leading overseas in international schools, including ten years in IB World Schools. She moved back to Seattle in 2017 and worked at The Meridian School as the Assistant Head of School. She is currently at Giddens School as Assistant Head of School for Curriculum and Instruction. Elizabeth holds a degree in Biology and Dance from Oberlin College and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University. She is passionate about curriculum development and coaching, mentoring and collaborating with teachers. Elizabeth is also a workshop leader for the International Baccalaureate and enjoys developing and leading professional development opportunities. She served on the board of the Creative Dance Center and is excited to start her work as a board member with Soundview. She is a Seattle native and enjoys being outdoors, dancing, creating and spending time with her Bernedoodle and three Siberian cats.
