At Soundview, students call me Ms. Hazel. I have a degree in Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University. I love working at Soundview because of our community and how highly I value education. Some of my favorite parts of the year are monthly assemblies and Grade 8 graduation; it is amazing to see the culmination of students’ growth into mature and caring young adults. My own child is beginning his school experience this year and I'm excited to see how he changes and develops as a Soundview student! Outside of school, I love being with family and friends. I enjoy sleeping in, spending time outside, watching TV and movies, baking, and reading books with my son (although I also hope to get back into recreational reading for myself!).
