I am so excited to be the teacher in the 3/4 Sea Turtle class again! I first joined the Soundview community in 2022 as a student teacher and have stayed ever since! This is a wonderful place to be! I love teaching at Soundview for many reasons; a few being the amazing people, the sense of belonging I felt right away and feel every time I walk through the door, and lastly the mission and values we hold in order to serve the students here as life long learners! I graduated from WWU with my Bachelors degree in Education with an endorsement in Special Ed! Over the summer, I spent quality time with family, enjoyed the outdoors, and played with my two cats! In early August I got married and it was the best day ever! My new name is Mrs. Rounds but students will still call me Ms.McKenna. I can’t wait for another awesome school year!
