Supplemental Orchestra Foundation (Mondays): Grades 4-8 (Grade 3 with permissions)
Every Monday from 3:40 PM - 4:45 PM; January 13th - June 9th
(No Orchestra on January 20th, February 17th, March 10th, April 7th and May 26th).
Extra practice schedules, recital days or additional opportunities will be communicated directly by Mrs. Higgins.

Minimum Participants: 4
Maximum Participants: 25
Open to registered Soundview students in Grades 4-8; special permission for Grade 3 students by permission from Mrs. Higgins.
Orchestra Foundations focuses on all skill areas related to playing in an orchestra. This includes playing techniques, music literacy, sight-reading, ensemble membership responsibilities, and equipment care and maintenance. The course is open to all levels of orchestral string players registered for the Soundview Orchestra on Fridays, and is required for first-time players not taking outside private lessons.
