Happy New Year!
Dear Soundview Families,
We have made remarkable progress this year, both individually and as a school community. Let’s take a moment to reflect on all the incredible achievements over the past 12 months. With the new year ahead, we are ready to embrace all that 2025 holds. As we step into this fresh chapter, I wish each of you joy, love, and togetherness with your family and community. On behalf of all of us at Soundview, Happy New Year to you and your family!
We’re excited to share that our Annual Campaign’s December challenge is nearing an end, and there’s still time for you to be part of it! Thanks to the generosity of alumni parents and trustees Alison and Doug Suttles, we have a matching challenge in place. To receive their dollar-for-dollar match, we need to raise $20,000 by December 31st! So far, we’ve raised $14,725 this month, and with your help, we can reach our goal in the next four days! Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in ensuring the success and growth of your student(s).

At Soundview, our Annual Campaign fuels the exceptional education your student(s) receive, one that prioritizes ethics, academic excellence, and empathy. Our community is striving to raise $365,000, and every contribution plays a vital role in achieving that goal. While donations are welcome year-round, year-end giving offers a unique opportunity to maximize your impact and take advantage of potential tax benefits. Your generosity drives positive change, and together, we can empower every student to thrive.
If you missed the letter with January’s important updates and opportunities, you can catch up by reading it HERE. We’ll have all the January information again in our email on Friday, January 3rd.

On December 27th, 1932 the Radio City Music Hall opened. At the height of the Great Depression, thousands turned out for the opening of Radio City Music Hall, a magnificent Art Deco theater in New York City. Radio City Music Hall was designed as a palace for the people, a place of beauty where ordinary people could see high-quality entertainment. Since its 1932 opening, more than 300 million people have gone to Radio City to enjoy movies, stage shows, concerts and special events. You can read more about this HERE.
